Current and Past Community Service
SOME CURRENT AND PAST COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS INCLUDE:
- Weekly English classes for neighborhood children
- Established a family food fund and helped 12 needy families with groceries
- Individually volunteered for animal and vision clinics
- trips to area orphanages
- sponsoring a special needs child for one year of school
- helping with a rummage sale that benefits a nursing home
- gathering and distributing medical supplies and equipment
DECEMBER 2008: WITH LOCAL HELP TO IDENTIFY NEEDY FAMILIES, WE DISTRIBUTED DONATED CLOTHES, SCHOOL SUPPLIES/STUFFED ANIMALS/BLANKETS TO KIDS WITHOUT BEDS, ETC. AT A NEARBY VILLAGE. THE OCCASION BECAME A FIESTA, INCLUDING PINATAS. Volunteers were touched by the great need and sincere gratefulness.

DECEMBER 2008: APPROXIMATELY 60 BLANKETS WERE BOUGHT AND DISTRIBUTED TO INDIGENOUS FARM WORKER FAMILIES THROUGH A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION AND A LOCAL PHYSICIAN

MARCH 2009: 60 SCHOOL UNIFORMS WERE PURCHASED FOR GRADES 1-6 CHILDREN IN VILLA LA PINAL
